AIIMS - 2014 Notification, Online Application, Dates, Procedure

All India Institution of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released an Official Notification for MBBS Course - 2014. AIIMS is an yearly examination for the Students, Who completes or going to pass their 12th examination with the Subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology with at least 60% of Marks (50% Marks in case of SC & ST students) for MBBS course entrance.

Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed /will be appearing for 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate. 

Important Dates:

Online Application Submission Opening Date: 17th February 2014
Online Application Submission Last Date: 17th March, 2014; 5:30 PM (1700 Hours from Starting date)

AIIMS -2014 Examination Date: 1st June, 2014 [Sunday] in Various Centers All over the World.

Registration Fee:

• For General/OBC Category: Rs. 1000/-
• For SC/ST Category: Rs. 800/-
• OPH Candidates are exempted from any Fee.

Payment Method: Payment is to be made through Online challan form to be submitted in any branch of State Bank of India.

Exam Pattern:

AIIMS - MBBS Entrance Examination will be 3½ hours duration and haves 200 Objective type questions (Multiple choice and reason-assertion type questions) from the Following subjects [No. of Questions from Each subject are mentioned in Brackets].

Physics (60), Chemistry (60), Biology (60) and General Knowledge (20)

Admit Cards:

The Admit Cards will be available through Online only and not by Post. Admit Cards will be hosted in the Official website of AIIMS - www.aimsexams.org from 16th May, 2014 under "IMPORTANT DATES AT A GLANCE" section.
